We launched TDS through collaboration because it's part of what we are; a platform for many voices, not a single one. Claire Mueller, the Sydney-based artist behind ACID.FLWRS, was the natural first.

Her practice transforms familiar forms into something that sits between the natural and the synthetic, the classical and the futuristic … a perfect fit for our company that asks people to look at difference differently.

The collection features two sunflower pieces and one drawing on Claire's orchid work, each cropped close enough to feel almost abstract. The sunflower isn't accidental, it's the symbol of hidden disabilities, worn by people who want to signal that not all difference is visible. In Claire's hands, it becomes something wilder and more alive than the emblem you might recognise. Still hopeful. Still bright. But strange in the best way.
